They say socialism’s bad and they don’t what it means
They say anarchism’s bad – but they have the wrong dream
- they have greed – and my dream’s to see greed rectified
we’re recruitin allies who see the truth and are inclined
- things stay the way they are – the way they are at this hour
cause we’re riddled wit ignorance – and this is their power
see we are – the people that are – thinking the system needs C P R
new life breathed in – cause it’s dead –
had enough of this one – need another instead
we need to re-think what we believe – and we need to go re-read
- The Lies my teacher told me – when he teach – he deceive
Read its bigger than Hip Hop – read that book and you’ll see
How rich old white men always profit when you buy industry CDs
From the Game to Little Wayne – the whole mainstream it’s plain
They sell stereotypes to kids – it goes right in their brain
On this we don’t have to be dependent – we can always back artists
That speak truth that’s independent - if you ya heard me
rap that’s evident cause I
miseducation – they hook that up (HOOK)
but the truth we can hook that up
hook that hook that hook that up
hook hook hook hook that up
Truth comes out my lips like it’s a folder – I put a cookie on my neck
To put a chip on my shoulder - - my 1st CD I tried to warn ya
That the world’s much bigger than what you eye’in on your corner
- I do my own research and I don’t follow many orders
not claimin ethnicity disrespects these man made borders
one of my many ways of not conformin – they teach us to be the same
but if we’re all the same then it’s borin - - misinformation is pourin
ads telling us we suck – but we can change our image
if we just spend a few bucks – but only sheep believe beauty
in skin deep is deep enough - - (true) beauty you find in your mind
by lovin yourself – helping others in need – you can feel real wealth
dedication to meditation – not medication is health
misinformation is stealth – aimed at sight of the masses
but if they watched They Live they might pick up the right glasses
and – (HOOK THAT UP) – (question all your classes) let’s…
- - The fact - that money - is the root - of all evil
- Means that capitalism could be the devil to the people
- They teach us – to look up – to the founding fathers
But I know they owned slaves and were native land robbers
Schools teach to the test – and pledge allegiance to the system
And they (hook that up) – need to reshape how we livin
- pledge allegiance to the earth and all life that’s arisen
so let’s (hook that up) – - - -I can see in these times
now people are known for ignorin war crimes
like in New York how they ignore horn honkin signs
- the rockafella drug laws is a blatant disgrace the way they (hook that up)
the ones flyin the drugs in they don’t never get chased (the way they – hook that up
- - I seen the face of kids sewin soccer balls out the states they (hook that up)
at seven days a week at nine cents a day
- the prices always rise – they try to pay the worker’s less
- a strange definition how they define success
- ya see my style precision – listen – I never be missin
a chance to keep questioning – cause I’m always stressin that we (hook that up)
OUTRO
revolution let’s hook that up
real education let’s hook that up
change doesn’t come from the top
the people always – hook that up

The Obesity of Starvation
Hablo verdad solamente (I speak truth only)
todas las palabras son para la gente (all words are for the people)
contra los presidentes (against the presidents)
you should peep it (check it out) I got a lot to say
people in prison make bras for victoria's secret everyday (shhh)
they pay em 3 cents an hour cause the power want the profit
now you know the secret the deepest
is they want us all in jail or gettin shot cause they not
for the poor - they're for war - for the rich gettin more
every war is for the resources - of course it's
more parasitic - or capitalistic
40% of the world eats one meal a day
while the rich - they throw out they food at buffets
what more can I say - we at war everyday
wit a system that charges you money to be livin
and they charge for prescriptions and they privatize the water
they downsize our jobs while they givin out the orders
its all factual - this resistance is international
we for the people cause the governments's irrational
rich countries - run the world bank and build tanks
they bailin out the banks they not bailin out the poor
make levees - not war - pick a side who you for
cause the battle is ancient when they wagin class war
so I stay patient - stop the clock for mediation
I stay with - ways of the ancients

Truth with a Side of Humor
INTRO
Your theories intrigue me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. However, I have another song to do…
I don’t do this for wealth – - -as I said before -
- - I never repeat myself (never)– I heard they were eyein me
For president – - of the sarcasm society - -
They said I might like it - - I said - - I might stop
Bein indecisive - - but I don’t know - -
- And don’t know but ask – why more psychics
Don’t win more (of the) lottery cash (hmm) – I almost had a psychic girlfriend
But before we met she left - - - in the hood you would run
I have an inferiority complex – but it’s not a good one
- - My questions abound - - like why ain’t phonetic
Spelled the way that it sounds – why they get down
To seperatin bathrooms – when two in ten are gay
They say you only live once – but I say – we may
I don’t suffer from insanity – I enjoy – don’t avoid it
Don’t treat it – Im on a seafood diet – where
I see food but don’t eat it – when redundant I repeat it
Repeat it – repeat it – repeat it
Yeah I tell truth with a laugh on the side (HOOK)
- balance in my life – that’s how I ride
If you thinking of joining the military you could die
Just listen to my song it’s called Military Recruiters
Lie – it’s the truth see proof in The Ground Truth (free video on my site)
Between that movie and my last album you’ll know what it’s about’n
- - you’ll start doubtin’ – all the lies that you see amountin
it should be a felony – how they act like college
and vacation’s what they sellin me – go to my myspace
hear the track – it’ll smack you - in the face – not an act
just facts you gotta face – enough about my last album
let’s talk about my last album – yeah I be clownin
kiddin aroundin’ – what’s wrong with havin a sense of humor?
in a world where problems keep growin like a tumor
- Me - - I like to fight back and still laugh
so I watch George Carlin in acts from the past
- - known to bring facts out – like front runnin fans
are known to wait till a team wins – 'till they bring the hats out
(yeah I see you!)
Truth you can’t handle – my house burnt down
By a stress relieving candle – I tell fundamentalists
I’m always right sometimes – cause religious contradictions
- Is something - that all of us - agree that we can find
- confusin with my flow – like tryin to reminisce
with 3 guys you don’t know – - so I go on to
tell ya my grandfather - said he hated my beard
I said – it grows on you! - - he sat back and laughed
- Like last year – (when I told em’) I sold my car to buy gas
- - - - - and my thoughts are still invested in
what if there was no more - rhetorical – questioning?
- a veteran of wild times occurin in my course –
- I thought stable relationships were only for a horse
- - couldn’t "abbreviation" be a shorter word source?
they say rap ain’t music – I say, "Let’s see you do some!"
I came to chew gum – and tell the truth –
- and I’m all out of gum - -

Rage Against the System
INTRO
You want Tha Truth? You Can’t Handle Tha Truth!!
Capitalism comes with profit being the primary motivation for everything.
And competition.
Human Needs are not included
The U.S. is a business if ya wanna understand it
Started by freemasons who thought it out and planned it
Christians killed the Indians – the rich was expandin it
They needed a labor force and said slave’ll handle it
I Read kept the evidence – Zinn’s books document it
They needed a logo to trade under like any other business type
So it was commissioned to create the stars and stipes
Judged by GDPs and wall street salaries
But not far from last if ya ask about morality
If ya think of it – we not even considered citizens
The fact is we’re customers stuck up under businesses
The business model’s name is given as capitalism
From the same people that bought you slavery and prisons
For hundreds of years it’s the system that we fought
As seen on TV where the airwaves are bought
But if you act now you won’t be on the net caught
1 percent stay rich that's what we have in this system (HOOK)
thay say nothins free cause we in capitalism
They – base – democracy and bein free on elections
But - getting - elected’s – not free – it’s expensive!
Campaign advertising – the costs can be risin
In the billions – the system’s craziness is major
So the president is known for a particular behavior
He honed his skills as (the best) a business fundraiser
When you’re always in beef - and hustle for money all the time
In the street we call that runnin organized crime
They tell us say no to drugs and teach us about DARE
But when you go to the doctor all it is drugs there
- they lock up – drug dealers on the street that’s small time
the biggest drug dealers advertise in prime time
killin and torturing – it leads to bad pub
the SOA and Blackwater take it back to the club
after a shooting they change names but it’s still the same
they act don’t change – the same practices remain
We live in this – you might think it’s not that insidious
But slavery still exists and we’re clothed in this business
they made in sweatshops – and we eat China’s fishes
Look at the packages on fish you can witness it
Look at your clothes on the tags – it’s ubiquitous
It’s made in the third world where kids sew your game balls
The US prefers workers wit no labor laws
The cause and effect is direct in plain sight
If a leader from these countries starts to fight for worker’s rights
The CIA overthrow em or hurts em with their might
Not an act - it’s all facts that can be verified
Lumumba from the Congo in 65 homicide
They - - see morals and human rights as in the way
Of their pay – and a 9 year old can see through the lies
When 1 can take 8 slices from a pie of 9
And the rest of us can fight over 1 to survive
The rich stay rich payin out poverty wages
And socialism’s what the rich say is outrageous
When information is owned by the rich it’s contagious
King had another dream he said that could save us
He said there’s something else we gotta see demolished
We become civilized when poverty’s abolished
- they say it’s not bad that it’s just some bad seeds
- at the root - capitalism - is legalized greed
they stay in business sellin you the philosophy
you could be the next one in a million ideology
(but) you don’t stay rich by spreadin too much wealth around
it’s only room for a few to keep this system’s health sound
it’s a dream – what you been hearin – it is what it seems
like Primerica – America is a pyramid scheme
Dr. King wasn’t killed for wantin voting equality
He was killed when he went and spoke out about poverty
Last hook
judged by GDPs and wall street salaries
But not far from last if ya ask about morality
(Ryan Harvey)
I'm checkin out of this twisted mythology
the holidays glorifyin genocide and robbery
to the end I'm a world citizen (repeat)
OUTRO (vocals by Why)

World Without Borders
US government says who’s a terrorist it’s ridiculous
People forget they were terrorists to the indigenous
- stupidity shows in many people without failin
was Columbus a terrorist – or an illegal alien ?
- it’s tiring – tryin to act normal everday
- I’m survivin – unlike the 20,000 everyday
that’s hungry and dyin - - I’m supplyin that stat
that’s a UN backed fact – but who cares about that
got a new SUV and it’s black – plus I bang gangsta rap
- Seriously – I used to listen to it – to the music
till a conscious rapper introduced truth and I knew it
after listenin to this – if you forget it – then you blew it
if you learn the history what they really go to war for
you’ll take the next step and be against the next war more
- - humans should be more like animals I believe
- - animals – usually – only take what they need
I - am - Iraqui – Afghani – and Palestinian
I’m African – Latino – I’m every native Indian
- - - - I am every person that’s oppressed
when one of us is hurt we all should feel stressed (HOOK)
We should be able – to live wherever we want
Borders don’t exist – really – it’s just a front
(cause) I mean man made ‘em up – they got humanity stuck
all people created equal – with the earth as our mother
man drew lines in the sand to pit brother against brother
- in the past - - - my ethnicity is other if you ask
- - corporations globalize (trade) to make the world one
- - that’s something - to globalize liberation from
don’t globalize people’s interests – they only globalize their business
that’s the difference – (cause) this business is the – world’s – true – foe
- most have only three letters – one’s the W – T – O
- they could be called W – T – F – cause they a mess
- - they don’t do it properly – the opposite of democracy
they pollute the air – they consider it their property
they take the earth’s rain water they make it a commodity
people buy bottled water – I can’t bottle it – it bothers me
it’s how I believe – try spellin EVIAN backwards
and that spells naïve - - I drink filtered water
never drink that quarter water – any money I make
goes to organic food orders – any cash after that
that’s something I give back – to groups that’s on track
to fight back – I like that – - I’m a different type of cat that’s -
We’re all equal when created some learn to have hatred
I think they hate themselves if they became a racist
- we’re all from the same source – I don’t have time to explain
look it up – take a course – the world’s crazy and rash
one way to stay sane is to sit back and laugh
people say we can’t win and do nothing more or less
it’s a moral test to do nothing less than you best
winnin doesn’t matter – la lucha es importante
we’re born it in you can’t escape it like Carlito Brigante
quiero derechos humanos para (los) immigrantes
we’re raised to not care about the human population
it’s a craze to only find where to go on vacation
there’s really two directions to direct education
join the system it’s great or break and teach liberation
- El Pueblo – Unido – Jamas Sera Vencido
I always say that – that’s a fact that it’s needed
- The People – United – will never be defeated
In college this teacher wasn’t figuratively color blind
- He taught us ethnic relations and was literally blind
We are all created as equal members of one human family
You can get that on a bumper sticker – it’s free –

Freedom Fighters
INTRO
those who know the democrats and republicans are both corrupt
the people who organize
the people that take action
the demonstrators
the boycotters
the protestors
the marchers
the strikers
we the real freedom fighters...
See – we the real freedom fighters – like William Still a freedom
Writer – they say just leave all our problems up to God
– make sure his name is praised – it didn’t work for the holocaust
or African’s enslaved - - it’s up to - - us to fight
for the cause to be free – I’m the – type to fight
the drug laws are obscene –most people in prison
get that path for bein poor – this system traps the poor
we fight back in this class war – - I’m for freedom
like C – H – E – Huey P – you and me find solutions
even Martin Luther King said it was time for revolution
- of values in the least – they in mansions they don’t care
about people sleepin in the streets - (they don't care about us they want us to die)
- - --where I reside – they plots got us buyin food genetically modified
if I kill it’s homicide – but it bothers me – the government
takes thousands of lives and people’s property – and they
call that foreign policy - we fight for freedom
till we reaching equality
we – the real – freedom – fighters (HOOK)
we – the real – freedom - fighters
Wherever you stand fam they wanna take ya land
They privatize the water risin profit off the damns
- From Iraq to Palestine - profit is the plan
They keep power from the people in the ruling class hands
- they keep it concentrated - most minds ain’t elevated
to see it’s like - 9 multinationals created
A system where food, water, and land has a price
One night they’ll charge you just to breathe the air in your life
This is the price of not fightin the elite – we getting beat
It’s our water – our food – our land – our street
They tell us they own it – then they tell us to vote
But takin action in the street and not votin’s my hope
On the whole we never vote – or get to take a poll
On the force they used to take resources they stole
And the hip hop industry’s now run by multinationals
Why you think you never hear no lyrics that’s rational?
(think about it!)
In the crime of 911 - - 3 thousand people died
every day from hunger – 20,000 lose their lives
this is a crime that could be rectified
By half the cost of wagin a war - - -
- - you can’t have peace if you never feed the poor
But the elite raise us with the value of greed
To be out for yourself and not people in need
They own the networks and program the mess
That material-ism’s the definition of success
It’s the system – television tells lies to your vision
They say nothin’s free cause we in capitalism
Schools teach geometry – but not how a few
Rich families stayin rich destroys the world’s economies
They – say – rap – just reflects what we facin
If you’re drownin you want a mirror or to change the situation?
Cause if you make an observation – than you have an obligation!
and What if people took their obsession wit weddings
and vented that energy for makin poverty ending
they against immigrants comin in from new lands
but love an immigrant from Krypton Superman
- - If you rob a bank – they call that theft
if you rob a whole country they call that the IMF
- - basically the schools are a disgrace- - -
face the fact that they ran by the state
OUTRO
To all my people
who make conscious choices in their daily lives
– choices that affect the planet, sustainability, justice, and the possibilities of a better world
those who know the democrats and republicans are both corrupt
the people who organize
the people that take action
the demonstrators
the boycotters
the protestors
the marchers
the strikers
we the real freedom fighters...
Cause if you make an observation – than you have an obligation!
and What if people took their obsession wit weddings
and vented that energy for makin poverty ending
they against immigrants comin in from new lands
but love an immigrant from Krypton Superman

if you rob a whole country they call that the IMF

face the fact that they ran by the state

The Struggle (La Lucha)
The Struggle (La Lucha)
One time I couldn’t even eat it was scary
It was cause I use to drink two diet cokes daily
Soda should come packaged with a warning attached
I wanted to take em to court but my lawyer’d be no match
Ya need one more reason against Coke in your mind
They profit from human rights violations in Palestine
In the third world they murder those who union organize
In the US they act like change that you can’t do it
They don’t believe that in Mexico with the Zapatista movement
They don’t believe these palabras – they don’t believe it in Nicaragua
You can have your own opinion but not your own facts when you habla
Governments in most places wiped out their native population
People photograph their castles when they take a vacation
We need a permanent vacation from the dominant culture
If ya listened to my rhymes and ya heard me I showed ya
This is resistance culture – like Colorado it’s Bolder
HOOK – It’s war up on the street – it’s war – it’s war
It’s war up on the street – la lucha continua
We need to turn sexistas y racistas into Zapatistas
La policia corrupt – they beat up many ghetto residents
Cops misdirected anger should be directed at the presidents
No so well paid enforcers of all the federal orders
A lot are racists – miseducated about our world without borders
Este mundo esta loco – have you ever done anything
to change it un poco? – we AFE
that means artists for equality – apathy – that’s something
psychopathically that bothers me – earth’s life’s all connected
all of us should be mad at acts that that 1% did
it’s no argument that stands up against human decency
- - how can we have a world where people are starving
and obesity – it needs to be a movement to get equal
and united – the struggle needs people like you to fight it
with determination like Che – Malcolm X or Huey Newton
- - King – Leonard Peltier – SDS – lets get it movin
allies disagree but agree (that) we need to see solutions
You might think it’s fine it might seem where you reside
But take a dive in my lines and spend some time wit my rhymes
Hellen Keller was a socialist who told the truth about the system
They’d listen – and at that time they’d remind her she was blind
Cooperation not competition’s is the way it’s been missin
It’s the position – new edition – it lit the way to fruition
Capitalism’s an attack on our human nutrition
And the biggest capitalists Coke and McDonalds are the richest
What’s the value of this business givin poison to kids livin?
- the rich - can’t stay rich - without workers to do their biddin
without payin workers less than they deserve in their position
people in the first world want them name brand clothes
they was made in sweatshops by little kids that sew
and they keep tyrants in to keep labor laws away
to keep their profits up and see justice (stay) astray
these tyrants are put in to power by the U S A
some third world workers flee and you see ‘em today
they came here cause they thought our workers rights are the way
so they could stop bein abused at where they used to stay
- - one day – - they might have a family reunion
- - here there’s a chance of a job with a union
(the US causes immigration then they start discriminatin)
40% of the world eats one meal a day
while the rich they throw out they food at buffets
what more can I say we at war with everyday
with a system that charges you money to be livin
- rich countries – run the world bank and build tanks
they bailin out the banks they not bailin out the poor
make levees not war – pick a side who you for
- every day up on the street – it’s an information war
One time I couldn’t even eat it was scary
It was cause I use to drink two diet cokes daily
